Grata's Investors & Acquirers search allows you to identify investors who have already shown interest in similar industries or business models so that you can create a more targeted list of potential buyers for deals. You can access this proactive business development tool on the main landing page.

Investor Search Filters

While using investor search, you are able to filter on

  1. Keyword terms

  2. Investor details

  3. Investment sectors

  4. Investment Locations

Keyword Term

Searching for keywords is similar to that in a regular company search. For a refresher on how to do so, see the following article on keyword searching in Grata.

By default, using the keyword search will search for terms on the investment's website and return their respective investors. However, in investor search you have the ability to toggle between searching on the investment's website or the investor's website (either will return a list of investors depending on your keyword search). You can do this by clicking on the dropdown highlighted below

Filter on Investor or Investment Details

You can filter on certain investor or investment details as shown below

Search Results

Search results will show profiles of investors based on your filters. Notice that in the table view (you can also switch to tile view in the top right corner of the results) of investor search you can see:

  1. Total investments

  2. Relevant investments

  3. Add-on investments

You can edit other columns that are relevant to you by selecting "Edit" in the table settings.

You're able to view all relevant investments based on your search filters by selecting the link under "Relevant Investments." This will open up the mini profile view and under the "evidence" tab, you can view all the investments that were acquired matching your search criteria. Additionally, you can select the link under "Total Investments" and "Add-on Investments" to see a list of these companies as well.
