Adding Companies

After you create lists, you may want to add additional companies to existing lists to further expand them. You can do this in any other search by checking the companies you wish to add and clicking Add to List. Here you can choose to add to any list that has been recently updated or search the name of the list you want to add to

You can also do this from the mini profile view and the full profile view as seen below

Removing Companies

While reviewing your existing lists, you can also remove companies that no longer interest you or belong in the list. You can do this by selecting the companies that you want to remove (by clicking on the checkbox near them) and then clicking on the Remove from List button. This can sometimes be minimized to a trash icon as seen below

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Open the Grata desktop application.

  2. Navigate to your desired company list.

  3. Locate and click on the checkbox next to the company or companies you wish to remove.

  4. Use the "Remove" button below to remove the selected companies from the list.

Filter within a List

Similar to a company search, you have access to the same filters within a list. You're able to use the same filters avaible to you in a company search to further breakdown you existing lists. You can do this by expanding the filters located on the left side as shown below.

Additionally, you can filter on companies based on their contact information as seen in the article here: Executive Contact filter

Troubleshooting Delays in Company Additions

If a company you’ve added to a list does not appear immediately, it’s usually due to the platform "re-syncing" the company data. This can happen in situations such as:

  • The added company was not previously in the Grata platform.

  • The company was inactive and is undergoing reactivation.

Resolution:

This re-syncing process is typically short and automatic. We recommend waiting and checking back later to confirm if the company has initialized in your list. If delays exceed expectations, consider reaching out to Grata support for additional assistance.
