Notes allow users to communicate with their teammates on a company profile.

Grata's Notes allows users to add a Note to any company profile while working collaboratively with your colleagues to determine the best plan of action for approaching a potential new deal.

You can see Notes in company profiles, Tile View, Table View, and the Chrome extension.


Notes in Company Profile

Open any company profile and click Note in the top right corner to start adding Notes for that company.

You can add up to 1,000 characters for a Note. To save your changes, click the blue Save button in the bottom right corner.


Notes in Tile View

Once your team has begun creating Notes, a grey bubble will appear in the top right corner of a company tile. And hover over the Note to see a preview of what's been written. You can add Notes from the Tile View using the pencil and paper icon to the right of the company name.


Notes in Table View

All Notes are visible in the Table View.

You can view and/or edit your Notes by clicking the Table tab in a company list. Use the arrows in that column to arrange your company list and view companies with strategic Notes at the top of your page.

And since Notes are exportable to Excel, you can easily use them for email campaigns by downloading your cleaned Notes and uploading them to your outreach platform, engagement platform or CRM (e.g., Outreach.io, Salesforce).

  • How long can my Note be?

    • You can add up to 1,000 characters for a Note.

  • Can I export my Notes to Excel?

    • YES. Click the Export to Excel button like you would normally to download a list of companies.

  • How do I delete a Note?

    • To delete a Note, delete the text in the Note box.

  • Can I recover my Note after I delete it?

    • NO. Notes are not recoverable once deleted.

  • How do I tell WHO left the most recent Note? How do I tell WHEN the most recent Note was updated?

    • Check the grey message beneath the Note box.

  • Can I sync my Notes directly from Grata to my CRM?

    • Not yet, but...coming soon!

  • Can I add a Note through the Chrome Extension?

    • YES. Click the Notes icon at the bottom of the extension to add a Note to a company through the Chrome Extension.
