M&A Multiples Summary
Now, when you're scoping out your markets, you'll see an M&A Multiples Summary bar with the mean and median EBITDA and revenue multiples - saving time from manual calculations
Deal Multiple Filter
This filter in the M&A Comps table that allows you to filter on rows that have either an EBITDA multiple or Revenue multiple. The filter is located at the top of the M&A Comps section titled Deal Multiple
M&A Financials data
Market Intelligence users will now see the following data in M&A Comps on the Markets and Comps pages, and on the Financials tab of the profile
including multiples
Revenue & EBITDA (combined in the Size column along with Employee Est)
EV/Rev & EV/EBITDA (combined in the Multiple column along with EV/Employee Est)
EBITDA Margin (calculation of EBITDA/Revenue)
Acquisition Value and Enterprise Value are now combined in the Deal Value column
You will be able to see this data in all the relevant places in our platform
M&A Comps (in Markets, Comps, and Profile Comps tab)
Profile Financials tab (in "M&A and Funding Rounds" and "Acquisitions Made" tables; blurred for BD-only users)
When in Expand view in M&A Comps, columns are not combined
All new data is available in Excel Exports from the Markets and Comps pages

Only users with the Market Intelligence product have access
What is the source of this data?
Publicly available data from press releases
These are reported numbers, not estimates
Note that Employee Est and Annual Growth Est are based on Grata estimates of the target at the time of the transaction
How are the multiples calculated?
EBITDA Multiple = EV / EBITDA
Revenue Multiple = EV / Revenue
Note: For the “EV” part of the calculations we use Enterprise Value if available, otherwise we use Acquisition Value
