Grata Active Mandates

The Grata Deal Network gives you exclusive access to active mandates shared by sell-side advisors. See teasers of active mandates with financials — including revenue, EBITDA, and valuation expectations — before they’re even in market and get a head-start on the competition.

How it Works

  1. Bankers Share Their Active Mandates

It all starts with sell-side advisors who are looking to find highly qualified buyers for their clients. Advisors who have been qualified by Grata build mandate profiles and share them with our team.

  2. We Vet the Mandates

Mandates go through our qualification process to ensure that the financials meet the needs of Grata's investment-grade standards. The Grata Deal Network will feature middle- and lower-market businesses with at least $1M EBITDA or $3M revenue.
Once they pass the test, we share mandate teasers on our platform.

  3. You Find Your Next Target

Search active mandates to find your opportunities. If it seems like a right fit, you can contact the advisor directly to move things forward.
‍No additional fees from Grata for either party.

Where Can I Find This?

Active Mandates is in a dedicated section under Business Development on the navigation bar.

Our v1 is a feed of Active Mandates that a user can click into and view additional details such as the acquisition characteristics and the contact information of the advisor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can those trialing Grata view active mandates?

  • Those with trial access will be able to preview the active mandates page but not see the banker or their contact info.

  • In order to view the full list of mandates, those with trial access will need a Grata subscription.

How long are the active mandates on Grata?

  • After 3 months (90 days) the mandates will automatically expire.

  • If the advisor would like the active mandate to remain active, they will need to inform us of which mandates are still live after the 90 day period to refresh the mandate.

  • We will reach out quarterly to identify any new mandates the advisor would like to share with Grata.

Is Grata registered with the SEC or FINRA?

  • Grata is not acting as an advisor or intermediary in any of the active mandates. No fees are being collected, and active mandate information provided by investment banking advisors is treated as marketing material. As such, there is no requirement for SEC or FINRA licensing in relation to these activities.
